I think that everyone who knows me understands the joy and physical well-being that bicycling brings me, especially my "sweeping" for rides with Sonoma County Biker Chicks. There we are at the beginning of a recent ride--I'm standing left of middle. Created by the Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition, Biker Chicks are all about women having fun while becoming the most skilled and confident riders we can be; and we sweeps make sure that "no Chick gets left behind". With that mission comes dedication to advocacy for low-stress bicycling infrastructure. On the Coalition's 21st anniversary, I am participating in a campaign to support that advocacy. Oh, and there is the possibility that I can win an e-bike, if I gather the highest total in contributions.
