I am raising money for this organization because it works locally to make riding a bicycle safe, efficient, and lots of fun.   

The Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition does this through a variety of programs such as Safe Routes to School. Working directly on school campuses teaching youth how to ride a bike safely and rules of the road. 
They offer regular scheduled Smart Cycling classes and Family Bike workshops to the public. 
My personal favorite is the Sonoma County Biker Chicks. Hosting monthly bike rides all over Sonoma County for women of all abilities with a choice of 4 different ride levels to choose from.  I have been riding with this group since it's first year (10 years ago!) and have become a ride leader as well. 
Please join me in honoring and supporting this wonderful local non profit as it continues to advocate for people of all ages and abilities to ride a bike by making Sonoma County the best place to ride a bike!
