2025 Golden Spoke Awards

REGISTRATION CLOSES 6 PM MONDAY SEPTEMBER 8TH!

To celebrate our ongoing mission to make bicycling safe and accessible to everyone, we will honor our community bicycle rock stars at the you-can’t-miss-it event of the year! Enjoy dinner and drinks, schmooze with friends old and new, and recognize the folks who are going the extra mile to make Sonoma County a better place to ride a bike.

The following awards will be presented:

• Bike Champion of the Year, an individual who inspires and supports others in the community: Matt Fritzinger of Blue Tailed Skinks.
• Civic Bike Leaders of the Year, working overtime to make streets safer for folks on bikes: Dan Hennessey, Torina Wilson, and Alexander Oceguera with Santa Rosa Transportation and Public Works.
• Bike Friendly Business of the Year, which has taken steps toward making it easy for their employees and/or customers to go by bike: Mitote Food Park.
• Bike Infrastructure Project of the Year, such as bike lane, bike bridge, bike boulevard, bike box, bike parking, bike trail, etc. that improves safety & encourages more riders: SMART Multiuse Pathway gap closures.
• Lifetime Commitment Award: Christine Culver.

In addition to the award ceremony, Gala attendees will enjoy a delicious dinner including appetizers, dessert, and drinks. The online silent auction will open September first; winning bidders need not be present.
