Description
Join us for a cinematic celebration of cycling for all ages and abilities as we screen three bike-related documentaries:
Cycling Without Age follows John, a retired teacher, and his merry group of volunteers as they use pedal-powered rickshaws to give adventure and joy to those who have lost the ability to pedal themselves.
Kidical Mass is a large group ride for kids of all ages, family members, and supporters. This film focuses on the power of two wheels for children and families showcasing community rides advocating for safer cycling infrastructure for the next generation.
In the Dirt shares the challenges and joys of a group of passionate Native American cyclists attempting to bring the sport of mountain biking to the Navajo Nation, where no bike shops exist.
We will be joined by volunteers from the Sebastopol Senior Center's Cycling Without Age program, who will offer rides in their rickshaw between 5 and 6 pm.
Films start at 6 pm. Tickets will be available online or at the door.
All proceeds benefit SCBC.
